"I bought these a size smaller than the blue ones. They fit but are tight in the waist. I must be in between the 31 and 32. I'll never understand why there is a ton of stretch in the double wide legs but no stretch in the waist. I'm hoping they will stretch with wear then I won't put them in the dryer and stretch them after wash. I had to have both pairs altered in length, they are very short."

The length gave me a little play at the bottom around my shoes which was nice, I was concerned about the length when I purchased. However, I rated these only four stars because after washing and drying them they did shrink in length considerably. They still fit in the waist and are acceptable in length, but I have to wear them a tad lower on the waist for them to lay at the right length."
