Not a loose fit if you have curves
"The shorts are really cute, and I ordered them on rush shipping to get them in time for a trip. I am a 27 waist and ordered a S, which is listed for up to 28 waist. The waist fit okay, but the shorts were still tighter and shorter than I expected due to having a bigger butt. Now I am hoping to exchange for a size M, but I did not get to wear them on my trip. My advice: if you are even slightly questioning the size, just go up. You can always tie the drawstring tighter."
